School Vision Statement

Our school is a community of learners where we focus on the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child. We strive to establish in each student a strong academic and personal foundation through high quality instructional experiences and school-wide adoption of "Rachel's Challenge" principles. The principles are:

  1. Start a chain reaction of kindness
  2. Accept and include others
  3. Be a positive influence
As a result, we have created a school climate that is conducive to learning. Our students are able to achieve academic success in a safe, nurturing environment.

Nassakeag Elementary School students in the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ learned how to better care for their pearly whites during a dental presentation with Dominique Cotilletta of KiddSmiles Pediatric Dentistry.

Ms. Cotilletta stressed the importance of students brushing their teeth twice a day and flossing. She also explained how sugary foods can have a negative effect on the health of teeth. Ms. Cotilletta then demonstrated how to brush teeth correctly on a stuffed animal dinosaur. Each of the students also received a goodie bag with a new toothbrush, floss and toothpaste.

      Service-Learning at Nassakeag

      Students with donations thumbnail263361

Student council members at Nassakeag Elementary School are in the spirit of giving and recently participated in several service-learning projects. Students recently made pop-up cards to donate to a local veterans home, wishing residents a happy and healthy 2025.

Additionally, students wrapped socks and gloves for local families in need. Warm hands + warm feet = warm hearts!
